Australian retailer Barbeques Galore has gone out of business after nearly 50 years of operation. Attempts to revive the struggling chain failed, leading to its closure and impacting approximately 500 workers.

• 62 company-owned stores will begin closing next week, with 27 franchisee-owned stores undergoing transitional arrangements.
