Car & General has launched a new LPG-powered Piaggio Ape NXT+ LPG three-wheeler in Kenya, offering a potentially cost-effective and environmentally friendly transport solution for operators.

• Estimated fuel savings of more than 30 percent compared to petrol-powered alternatives.
• The launch was officiated by Car & General Chief Executive Officer Vijay Gidoomal and Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) Chief Executive Officer Tobias Alando.
• The vehicle aims to reduce operating expenses, lower emissions, and decrease noise pollution, though initial adoption may be hindered by limited LPG refuelling infrastructure.
