- The initiative now produces over 600 litres of coconut oil weekly, a significant increase from its initial 20 litres per month.
- Led by founder Getrude Uba Kombora, the group uses coconut husks and shells to create smokeless cooking briquettes and organic fertilizer, thus generating additional income streams.
- Supported by the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC) since 2023, the group received training on value addition, financial management, and marketing, alongside infrastructure support which included a cold press machine.
