The High Court has frozen millions in assets and cash belonging to suspended Nairobi County Chief Officer for Urban Planning, Patrick Analoh Akivaga, and his wife, following an investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) into unexplained wealth and alleged grand corruption.

• Sh65.3 million in cash was discovered hidden at Akivaga's residence in Syokimau during a late-night raid by EACC detectives.
• The frozen assets include 19 parcels of land, 18 motor vehicles, and various bank funds, totaling millions of shillings.
• The freeze order, granted for six months, aims to prevent the liquidation or hiding of assets suspected to be proceeds of economic crimes.
• Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has suspended Akivaga and dissolved the entire Urban Planning Technical Committee as part of efforts to dismantle alleged corruption rings.
