The Consumers Federation of Kenya (COFEK) has filed a lawsuit seeking to halt the Sh375 billion redevelopment of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), citing a lack of transparency regarding the project's financing and ownership structures.

• The lawsuit names the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and Transport, Kenya Airports Authority (KAA), National Treasury, and Attorney-General as respondents.
