The Kenyan government is significantly increasing its focus on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions to address youth unemployment and skills shortages, aiming to more than double current enrolment.

• The target is to increase TVET enrolment to 2 million trainees, up from over 718,000 currently.
