The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) will implement partial road closures on Waiyaki Way and Mombasa Road in Nairobi for footbridge construction and expansion works.

A section of Waiyaki Way (Nakuru-bound) between Karuna Close and Westlands Roundabout will be closed for three months from June 25 to September 25, 2026.
KeNHA is undertaking these closures to improve pedestrian safety along busy transport corridors.
A separate temporary closure on Mombasa Road (Nairobi-bound) is scheduled for 13 hours on Saturday, June 27 (9 PM) to Sunday, June 28 (10 AM) for footbridge beam installation.
