Vihiga County has reported significant financial improvements, including increased revenue and reduced pending bills, as highlighted in its recently unveiled Mid-Term Review (MTR) report covering the 2023/24 to 2025/26 financial years.

• Vihiga County successfully increased its own-source revenue from Sh338.1 million in 2023/2024 to Sh397.9 million in 2024/2025.
• The report was unveiled by Governor Wilbur Ottichilo, showcasing strengthened governance and accelerated investments across key sectors.
• Pending bills were substantially reduced from Sh1.46 billion to Sh839.3 million due to prudent financial management.
