The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) has been recognized as the most productive State Corporation at the inaugural National Productivity and Performance Conference 2026.

• KICD achieved a Productivity Index of 4.746 in FY 2024/2025, maintaining an "Excellent Productivity" grade.
• The award was presented by President William Samoei Ruto to KICD CEO Prof. Charles Ong’ondo.
• This recognition highlights KICD's innovation and efficiency, particularly in rolling out the Competency-Based Education (CBE).
