A man claiming to be the biological son of the late Kenyan Internal Security Minister Prof George Saitoti is seeking a share of his estate, 14 years after the minister's death in a helicopter crash.

• The High Court has scheduled an inter-partes hearing for September 24, 2026, to address the application.
• The applicant, James Njage, claims he was a minor and living abroad when the estate was initially distributed to Saitoti's widow, Margaret Wanjiku Saitoti, and son, Zachary Musengi.
• Njage is seeking to revoke the grant of administration and has indicated a willingness to request the exhumation of Prof Saitoti's remains for DNA testing to prove his claim.
