The new coaches will feature onboard Wi-Fi, first-class dinner service, fully reclining seats with personal entertainment screens, and onboard bathing facilities.
This upgrade by Kenya Railways aims to mirror the comfort of SGR Premium Class and is similar to business-class travel on airlines.
The introduction of these luxury coaches coincides with ongoing work on the SGR extension project from Naivasha through Kisumu to Malaba.
