More than 150 coxswains assessed by the second day against a target of 250.
The initiative is led by Bandari Maritime Academy (BMA), sponsored by the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA).
The program utilizes a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) framework to formally certify experienced coxswains, improving their employability and maritime safety.
