• Mobile money subscriptions rose to 53.4 million, a 3.9% increase from the previous quarter.
• Safaricom, the market leader, accounts for 89.1% of these subscriptions, boosted by its M-PESA Fintech 2.0 platform upgrade.
• The number of mobile money agents also saw significant expansion, growing by 20.2% to over 602,000.
