Approximately 74 individuals arrested during the June 25 protests in Nairobi are scheduled to be arraigned in the Milimani Magistrates’ Court today, June 26.

• A total of 355 arrests were made nationwide, with Nairobi recording the highest number at 161.
• Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo confirmed the arraignments and noted that advocates are on standby to offer pro bono representation.
• Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen stated that those arrested face charges including robbery, vandalism, and road obstruction, with investigations ongoing.
