The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) has signed a significant news media cooperation agreement with China’s Hubei Media Group to foster content exchange, cultural collaboration, and media technology partnerships.

• The agreement was signed by KBC Managing Director Agnes Kalekye during the China-Hubei Media Week in Africa held in Nairobi on Friday, June 26.
• This collaboration aims at co-creation, digitizing KBC's archives dating back to 1928, and building platforms for creators from both countries.
• The partnership seeks to deepen people-to-people connections beyond traditional China-Africa collaborations in infrastructure and trade.
