The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has concluded its case against six Iranian nationals accused of trafficking over a tonne of methamphetamine valued at Sh8.2 billion.

• The seized drugs weighed 1,036.044 kilograms.
• Key individuals involved are the six accused Iranian nationals and investigating officer Inspector Shadrack Kemei.
• The narcotics were intercepted on the high seas aboard a suspicious, unregistered vessel.
