The National Economic Development Party (NEDP) has suspended its Executive Director, Daniel Mokua Onsomu, effective immediately.

• Daniel Mokua Onsomu has been barred from transacting any business on behalf of the party.
• The decision was made by the NEDP's governing body during a meeting on June 24.
• The suspension comes amidst national attention on the party's leader, Mike Mbuvi Sonko, and his recent activities.
