The search for seven new members of the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC) has advanced, with interviews concluded for the vacant positions following the expiry of the term for seven outgoing members.

• Interviews for the seven vacant positions were held between June 8 and June 18, 2026.
• The IGRTC has been instrumental in Kenya's devolution journey, facilitating the transfer of devolved functions and assets.
• Notable achievements include the transfer of Amboseli National Park to Kajiado County and resolving over 95 percent of devolved functions.
