President William Ruto and Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson commissioned the Ngong Road–Naivasha Road Flyover on Monday, a key project under the National Government–Nairobi County Cooperation Agreement designed to ease traffic congestion in the capital.

• A KSh2 billion El Niño drainage plan has also been launched, with works underway in all 85 wards to strengthen infrastructure against anticipated heavy rains.
• The Cooperation Agreement is facilitating over 200 kilometers of road construction and a KSh80 billion investment in transformative city projects.
• Other initiatives include the installation of up to 100,000 street lights and the construction of 20 modern markets.
