Safaricom has increased its fixed internet market share to 35.5%, reaching 941,501 fibre subscribers, as per the latest report from the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA).

• Safaricom added over 83,000 new fixed broadband subscribers in the third quarter of the 2025/26 financial year.
• Key competitors include Jamii Telecommunications Limited (Faiba) at 20.1%, Wananchi Group (Zuku) at 11.1%, and Poa Internet Kenya Limited at 10.7%.
• Most subscribers prefer 10 Mbps to 30 Mbps speed packages, influencing Safaricom's strategy with a 15 Mbps entry-level speed.
