Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has warned National Government Administration Officers (NGAOs) against alcohol and drug abuse, stating that rehabilitation will be offered, but those who fail to reform will face demotion.

• PS Omollo issued the warning during the launch of an induction programme for 530 Deputy County Commissioners (DCCs) in Nairobi.
• Officers struggling with addiction will be supported with rehabilitation.
• Persistent offenders will be reassigned to lighter duties, as discipline and sobriety are non-negotiable for administrators in positions of trust.
