The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is implementing pay cuts of 20 to 40 percent for law firms that represented them in election-related cases since 2017 to settle outstanding bills.

• The move aims to reduce the commission's pending legal bills from Sh4.2 billion to Sh2.9 billion.
