The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has apprehended two individuals found in possession of Ksh6 million in counterfeit currency along the Thika-Garissa Highway.

• Ksh6 million in fake Ksh1,000 notes were recovered.
• The operation was conducted by the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
• The suspects were allegedly transporting the counterfeit money to Wamunyu in Kitui County and were intercepted in a black Toyota Vitz at a roadblock in Kanyonyoo.
