The Kenya Meteorological Service Authority (KEMSA) is forecasting rain and unusually cold weather across several regions of Kenya for the next five days, from Saturday, July 4 to Wednesday, July 8.

• Central Kenya, including Nairobi, is expected to experience showers and temperatures as low as 6°C.
• Rain is also anticipated in parts of the Rift Valley, Nyanza, Western, and Coastal regions.
• Residents in these areas are advised to prepare for cold nights and consistent afternoon rains, while the North Western counties will remain hot.
