Google Play has launched its first $1 million Indie Games Fund for Africa, offering equity-free cash, mentorship, and technical support to independent game studios.

• A total of 10 studios will be selected to receive between $50,000 and $200,000 each.
• The fund is open to studios registered and based in 32 eligible African countries, including Kenya.
• Selected studios must commit to making their game available on Google Play and participating in Google Play Pass non-exclusively for two years.
