A postmortem report has revealed that Vincent Osiemo, also known as Mapinduzi, died from severe head injuries and blunt force trauma after falling from a speeding vehicle during political violence in Keumbu, Kisii County, on Friday, July 3, 2026.

• Osiemo suffered a skull fracture on the right side of his head and internal bleeding.
• The incident occurred during an attack on Linda Mwananchi leaders by suspected hired political goons.
• Seven suspects were arrested in connection with the attack, but their plea was delayed due to missing case files.
