The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced a temporary suspension of several online voter services, including voter search and updates, due to a routine ICT system upgrade. This upgrade aims to improve the reliability, security, and performance of the commission's digital platforms.

Services affected include the public voter search portal (verify.iebc.or.ke), voter transfers, and changes to voter particulars.
The IEBC is undertaking this upgrade while continuing with the Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) exercise in five electoral areas.
Physical voter registration services at IEBC constituency offices, Huduma Centres, and the Customer Experience Centre remain unaffected.
