Martha Karua, Co-Convenor of the United Alternative Government (UAG), has clarified that the opposition coalition has not yet selected its presidential candidate for the 2027 General Election.

• Martha Karua and Kalonzo Musyoka are the Co-Convenors of the UAG.
• A technical committee chaired by Kipruto arap Kirwa has completed substantial work and will present recommendations to the coalition principals soon.
