The UK is consulting on plans to introduce plain packaging for vapes and ban enticing flavour descriptions and names to protect children from nicotine addiction.

• Health Secretary James Murray stated that too many young people are being lured into experimenting with vapes.
• The consultation follows the recent passing of the Tobacco and Vapes Act, which includes a lifelong ban on cigarette sales for those born after January 1, 2009.
