Three young children, Elisha Kiprotich, Joy Cheptoo, and Emmanuel Kiptoo, tragically died in a house fire in Kimatisio village, Bomet County, on March 1.

• The victims included two seven-year-old twins.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is investigating the cause of the fire, with speculation of arson due to recent misfortunes faced by the family.
• The parents, Mr Boniface Kirui and Faith Kirui, held an emotional funeral, laying their children to rest in white coffins.
