Amref International University (AMIU) has announced plans to establish the Beyond Zero Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital as a dedicated teaching facility. This initiative aims to bolster the training of future healthcare professionals and advance maternal and child health across Africa.

• 530 graduands received their qualifications at AMIU’s 7th graduation ceremony.
• Key figures involved include Sheila Khama, Chairperson of the International Board of Directors for Amref Health Africa, and collaboration with the Beyond Zero Initiative under former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
• The proposed hospital will enhance AMIU’s practical training capacity and support improved maternal and child healthcare services.
