An intelligence-led operation near the Kenya-Somalia border has resulted in the deaths of 11 Al-Shabaab terrorists and injured seven others as they prepared for an attack.

• 11 Al-Shabaab terrorists killed, 7 injured.
• Operation conducted by the Special Operations Group (SOG).
• The assault on a makeshift camp near Mandera County also recovered 3 PKM guns and approximately 409 rounds of ammunition.
