A new three-year program, backed by Sh300 million in funding from Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to boost women's involvement in peace and security initiatives across 10 Kenyan counties leading up to the 2027 General Election.

• The program will run from 2026 to 2028 and involves Act Change Transform (Act!) as the implementing partner.
• It targets Garissa, Samburu, Laikipia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Kilifi, Mombasa, West Pokot, Kwale, and Nairobi counties, with the goal of strengthening Kenya’s National Action Plan III on Women, Peace and Security.
