PCEA Mai a Ihii Booth High School in Kikuyu, Kiambu County, has been indefinitely closed following the arrest of its principal, Timothy Chege, on allegations of sexual abuse against learners.

• The principal was charged with committing an indecent act against a child.
• The school was closed due to significant safety challenges and the absence of key administrators.
• The chairperson of the school's Board of Management was also arrested for allegedly interfering with investigations.
