A 41-year-old mobile phone technician, Anthony Njoroge, died instantly in a head-on collision with a liquor truck in Kaha-ini village, Maragua Constituency, Murang'a County on July 13.

• The motorcycle carrying Njoroge and two passengers collided with an oncoming liquor transport truck.
• Preliminary investigations suggest possible drunk driving by both the motorcycle rider and the truck driver.
• Njoroge was reportedly drinking with two friends before the tragic ride home.
• Two pillion passengers on the motorcycle were rushed to hospital in critical condition.
