Kenya and the United States have inked a significant Sh206 billion (USD 1.6 billion) health partnership deal aimed at bolstering Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and disease control programs in Kenya over the next five years.

• Sh206 billion (USD 1.6 billion) in cumulative support over five years.
• The agreement was signed by Kenyan Cabinet Secretaries Aden Duale and John Mbadi with a U.S. delegation led by Chargé d’Affaires Susan Burns.
• Key focus areas include strengthening the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA), malaria control, HIV/TB programs, and the Digital Health Superhighway initiative.
