A new initiative, the Smart Elevate Student Mentorship Program, has been launched to guide students into careers in healthcare technology across Africa.

• Students will receive mentorship, internships, and graduate training.
• The program is a collaboration between Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) and healthcare technology firm Smart Applications International.
• Launched on July 15, 2026, at a career fair held at JKUAT.
