President William Ruto has pledged significant government support for nurturing young talent in sports, particularly benefiting the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League runners-up, AFC Leopards.

• President Ruto announced an immediate Sh10 million cash injection for AFC Leopards, comprising Sh5 million for player signings and Sh5 million for the players.
• He also pledged an annual Sh25 million sponsorship top-up, increasing the club's annual sponsorship to Sh100 million.
• The government is constructing 32 stadiums nationwide, designed to be multi-purpose facilities supporting both sports and commercial activities, aiming to create jobs and economic opportunities for young Kenyans.
• The Sports Cabinet Secretary will finance the construction of a permanent training facility for AFC Leopards.
