Former DAP-Kenya politician Seth Panyako has rejoined President William Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA), announcing his intention to vie for the Malava parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.

• Seth Panyako, Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) Secretary General, will contest the Malava parliamentary seat on a UDA ticket.
• This marks Panyako's return to the UDA after resigning in May 2023, citing the Kenya Kwanza administration's failure to honour campaign promises.
• In the November 2023 by-election, Panyako narrowly lost the Malava parliamentary seat to UDA's David Ndakwa, garnering 20,210 votes to Ndakwa's 21,564.
