The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) have successfully foiled multiple suspected terrorist attacks in Lamu County by discovering and safely destroying four improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted along key supply routes.

• Four IEDs were detected and neutralized by troops during Operation Amani Boni (OAB).
• The operations were conducted by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
• The discoveries highlight the continued use of roadside bombs by terrorist groups facing pressure from security operations.
