BasiGo is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging network beyond Nairobi, with plans to launch three new stations this month in Meru, Nanyuki, and Nyeri.

• These new stations will support a range of electric vehicles, including buses, vans, and passenger cars, enhancing inter-city electric transport.
• The expansion is spearheaded by BasiGo CEO and Co-founder Jit Bhattacharya, in partnership with Rubis Energy Kenya.
• The charging stations will feature 100kW fast chargers, with an indicative charging cost of Sh48 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
