A court has ordered former Mungiki leader Ndura Waruinge to vacate more than a dozen plots of land in Kajiado County and pay over Sh30 million in damages for unlawfully occupying the property for over 12 years.

• Sh30 million awarded to landowners for damages and loss of use.
• Involved: Former Mungiki leader Ndura Waruinge and landowners Jane Wanjiku Waweru and Kirumba Mwaura.
• Mr. Waruinge was previously convicted for forcibly occupying the same land and failed to challenge the current court case.
