A seemingly simple request for directions turned into a deadly ordeal for two friends, resulting in the death of one and a narrow escape for the other, following an encounter with strangers in a Toyota Probox.

• Simon Kimani, deceased, was found dead in a mortuary four months after disappearing.
• Kimani was allegedly forced into the back of a vehicle with two strangers after being given two Sh200 notes.
• His friend, Michael Ndonga, managed to escape the same vehicle by jumping out on March 18, 2026.
• Medical records indicate Kimani was admitted to hospital with multiple cuts before succumbing to his injuries.
