Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has issued a stern warning to parents regarding the recruitment of youth into political violence and exploitation by criminal groups.

• Parents are urged to actively monitor their children's behavior, academic progress, and social circles to prevent them from becoming involved in "goonism."
• The warning comes from PS Omollo during a parents' meeting at Ober Boys High School in Homa Bay County.
• The government has recruited 100,000 teachers in the last three years and plans to hire 20,000 more, alongside constructing over 23,000 classrooms and 16,000 laboratories to support education.
