The Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has secured eight first-place awards at the Kisumu National Show, recognizing its contributions to Kenya's transport and logistics network, international trade, and export promotion.

• KPA won across categories including Viable Transport, International Trade and Exports, Environment, Blue Economy, ICT, and Community Service.
• These awards highlight the growing prominence of the Port of Kisumu as a key regional logistics hub on Lake Victoria.
• The port has seen increased activity, with 144 vessel calls this year and significant cargo throughput, particularly for transit markets like Uganda.
