The High Court has ordered Nairobi City County to pay over Sh218 million to ICT supplier Technobrain (Kenya) Ltd. This comes after the county failed to honour a court-approved settlement despite repeated demands.

• The county owes Technobrain an outstanding balance of Sh168.5 million, which, with interest and costs, exceeds Sh218 million.
• The order was issued against Nairobi City County and its Chief Officer for Mobility and ICT Infrastructure.
• The dispute stems from a contract signed on March 6, 2020, for an Integrated City Revenue Management System, and a subsequent consent judgment where the county agreed to pay Sh330 million.
