Britam Connect has launched a new medical insurance product, Bima ya Wafanyikazi, aimed at providing affordable healthcare access to domestic and informal workers in Kenya.

Premiums start as low as Sh336 per month.
The product is underwritten by Britam and distributed by Minet Kenya Insurance Brokers.
It covers inpatient, outpatient, maternity, dental, optical, and last expense benefits, addressing a significant gap in medical insurance for over 90 percent of domestic workers who are uninsured.
