National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula has issued a warning against Members of Parliament wearing coordinated party colours or "uniforms" in the House.

The warning was issued on Tuesday, July 28, after MPs from the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) wore matching green suits.
Speaker Wetang'ula stated that while MPs can wear any colours, attire deemed representative of a political party will be considered out of order.
He further announced that, barring special occasions, Parliament will no longer permit party uniforms.
