PS Omollo has ordered a security crackdown on drugs and crime in Mombasa, emphasizing the city's critical role in the nation's economy and security.

• The directive targets drug trafficking, organised crime, and criminal gangs, particularly concerning the youth.
• Principal Secretary for Internal Security and National Administration, Dr. Raymond Omollo, met with National Government Administrative Officers (NGAOs) to implement the enhanced security measures.
• The crackdown also includes strengthening intelligence gathering, community policing, and ensuring access to essential government services like National Identity Cards and healthcare via the Social Health Authority (SHA).
