Two suspects, Kevin Ndereba Kilonzo and Shaban Warui Zainab, have been arrested in Kikuyu following a robbery with violence and gang rape incident. The arrests were made after the victims were involved in a road accident and approached by the men posing as good samaritans.

The suspects robbed the victims of valuables, emptied their mobile money accounts using their M-Pesa PINs, and sexually assaulted the woman.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Operations Action Team (OAT), Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB), and Kikuyu County detectives collaborated on the investigation.
Recovered items include the mobile phones used for the fraudulent transactions and two pangas believed to be weapons used during the crime.
